Job Summary:

The Service Coordinatoris responsible for coordinating and optimizing the scheduling, dispatching, and communication of field technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Scheduling and Dispatching:

    • Schedule and assign service calls to field technicians based on location, availability, and expertise.

    • Optimize technician routes to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.

    • Monitor technician locations and job progress in real-time using field service management software.

  2. Client Communication:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on appointment times, technician arrivals, and job status.

    • Address client concerns and escalate issues to the Service Manager as needed.

  3. Administrative Support:

    • Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician schedules, and client interactions.

    • Generate reports on service metrics (e.g., response time, first-time fix rate) to support operational improvements.

  4. Team Coordination:

    • Communicate effectively with field technicians to ensure they have the information, tools, and parts needed to complete jobs.

    • Support the Service Managerin identifying training needs and process improvements.

  5. Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure all service calls comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

    • Monitor technician adherence to safety protocols and report any issues to the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

  • Experience:2+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and database systems.

    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
